Places to return to

Have just been skipping through a few shots from a Contiki around Europe we did a few years back. How many years back now, jeez… There really are some beautiful places in the world. Two of my favourites - the Greek Islands and Venice. I remember walking around the back streets of Venice alone, exploring the quiet alleyways and canals, picking through Venetian mask and glass shops. Just an amazing place, really has a sense of magic about it. And the raw isolated beauty of the Greek Islands just makes you feel like you’re really at the cusp of the world. The wind is strong, blustery and warm and there doesn’t seem to be a blade of grass. Just open rock islands, where people have made their homes, pristine whitewashed havens. Would love to get back and spend more time one day. One day. But back to my screen and pile of work. Worlds away…
